MISSIONS OPPORTUNITIES IN EAST AFRICA
"I am so grateful to the 20th Episcopal District for hosting our young adult/collegiate ministry in conjunction with the Wesley Foundation at the University of South Carolina. Missions experiences like these change lives. Not only was my life changed but so was the lives our of students and young adult." - Rev. D. Isaac Grate, University of South Carolina Faculty
Group Missions Trips
The Twentieth Episcopal District welcomes the opportunity to partner with local churches, collegiate campus ministries, and other groups to help facilitate and plan missions' opportunities in our partner countries: Malawi, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Uganda, and Mozambique. Groups working with the Twentieth receive spiritual based, intellectually stimulating, and ethically responsible, missions excursions that allow missions' groups to learn through immersion service learning experiences in native East African cultures where they:
learn about the complex issues faced by East African peoples from locals and experts,
have authentic African worship experiences (varies by culture),
explore the local ecological and bio diversity of the peoples where they are engaged in mission.
If you and/or your group want a life changing, spiritually transformative fun experience that will strengthen your faith and form new friendships that last a life time, prayerfully consider contacting our offices via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
